'Twas the week before Christmas, when all through the library, a creature surely was stirring--most particularly a reader. Hello, my bookish elves! I'm very excited because IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS! Christmas and its red and green atmosphere is my most favorite time of year, and I decided to do a little something fun on the blog this time around. So welcome to Under the Bookish Tree, a five-day long palooza of books and bookish things with inspiration from your favorite Christmas tunes and jingles. And today:
(But first, some music to get you in the holiday mood!)
I don't want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need. I only care about one present underneath the Christmas tree. I just want it for my own, more than you could ever know. Make my wish come true, all I want for Christmas is...books! The title of this song is pretty self explanatory--just switch you for books and voila! Could a Christmas song more easily be about books? Probably not. And without further adieu, here's my Christmas list this year, with a cameo from PeeWee! (Which I gave to Santa one week before Christmas, go me!)
What are you asking Santa for this year?
