The Weekly Forecast (8)

Welcome to a new (and hopefully) weekly feature of sorts here on Beauty and the Bookshelf: The Weekly Forecast! (Name possibly still tentative.) I've been reworking the blog a bit, trying to post more and be consistent, but also to post more than reviews and the same two memes every week (assuming I even post anything during a week). Then I thought of The Weekly Forecast, a way to recap what I did on the blog (and maybe even read and watched and listened to?) the week before, and then to forecast what will be on the blog the coming week. The latter could be helpful because it keeps me in check, kind of: if I tell you I'm going to post a review this week then now I basically have to post a review this week. But first: let me tell you what happened on the blog last week.

Last week was not my best blogging week since, well, I didn't blog at all. But that's because my laptop charger quit on me (when I was trying to put together a blog tour post, of course) and I couldn't blog. (I did try a bit on my phone but apparently making posts for Blogger isn't a mobile-friendly activity.) NEVER FEAR though, because I once again have a working laptop charger and I CAN BLOG. So I'm going to recap what was on the blog two weeks ago and then forecast this week!

Recap

Monday: International Talk Like a Pirate Day: Some Top Parrgh Mateys

Tuesday: Top Ten Film Scores

Wednesday: Waiting on Wednesday

Thursday: Review: Blood and Chocolate

Read
I was in the mood for something familiar and that would be mostly nice to me, so I began my reread of the Morganville Vampires series--so far I've reread Glass Houses, Dead Girls' Dance, Midnight Alley, and Feast of Fools. I finally read Ruin and Rising so that I could read Six of Crows, and last night I finished Crooked Kingdoms, which is why I'm super emotional today (like super duper). Hence why last night I also began Kasie West's By Your Side, because I seriously need the fluff.

Forecast

Monday: Blog Tour: Nemesis

Tuesday: Review: Holding Up the Universe

Wednesday: September Recap

Thursday: Review: The Doorway and the Deep

Friday: The Nonfictional Mourning of Fiction

How's blogging been going for you?
