This Tuesday's theme is...
Unless they're a soap opera, TV shows do not, unfortunately, go on forever. However, that does not mean they should be forgotten. (And it definitely means they need to all be on Netflix.) So I've whipped up a list of ten TV shows that you should absolutely, totally remember. The sad part is that there are probably other shows that should be on this list--I just don't remember them.
Rugrats: This show literally never gets old and I still love it.
Double Dare: No game show in existence or to ever exist will ever be as cool as this one.
Brotherly Love: I don't remember, well, anything about this show, but I put here because I was starting to think I'd made it up (probably because I thought it was called Brother's Garage) but I DIDN'T.
Life with Derek; I used to love this show, what HAPPENED to it, someone put it on Netflix ASAP.
The Wild Thornberrys: A show that's more Animal Planet than Animal Planet actually is, and come on people, be real: we all wanted to be a Thornberry and go on adventures in that Humvee.
Victorious: Fact: I still watch this show.
Ned's Declassified School Survive Guide: Remember when shows could be funny without being just plain stupid?
PB&J Otter: If you're not thinking about the Noodle Dance right now then we can't be friends, sorry.
Courage the Cowardly Dog: Weirdest kid's show in possibly ever, but also one of the best shows.
Jane by Design: How dare anyone cancel this show--an ABCFamily show that was actually good--ESPECIALLY after what happened at the end of the last episode?
I FORGOT TERRA NOVA BRING BACK THAT SHOW AND DINOSAURS RIGHT NOW.
ALSO, does anyone else remember a show that was on Noggin or Discovery Kids or something, and I think what it did was bring weird stories that kids sent in and bring them to life? It was WEIRD. Anyone? Bueller?

ReplyDeleteDouble Dare was the bomb. I always wondered what they waxed their floors with because holy hell everyone was slipping all over the place during the challenges!!! I kind of miss Mark Summers in my life :( Brotherly Love was a fave of mine also-- I swear you didn't make it up!!!
