Waiting on Wednesday (158)

is a weekly feature hosted by Breaking the Spine that
showcases upcoming releases people are very much anticipating.

The thing about finishing a series is that your left with this emptiness because it's all over forever and you'll never be able to go back (unless you reread it). But every once in awhile, an author gives us a delightful, terrifying treat and, after over ten years, returns to that world with a new installment (or two!) to one of your favorite series. My excitement for this is unreal, and thank gosh the release date is just around the corner. Welcome back, my babies, welcome back. (Though you never really left, did you?)

Note: If you haven't read the Mediator series, this may be spoilery.

In Remembrance, the seventh installment of the Mediator series, all Susannah Simon wants is to make a good impression at her first job since graduating from college (and becoming engaged to Dr. Jesse de Silva).

But when she stumbles across an ancient murder, old ghosts—and ex-boyfriends—aren’t all that come back to haunt her.

Remembrance will be the first ever adult installment of the Mediator, published by William Morrow, the adult division of HarperCollins, the company that brought you the YA books in the series.

  1. Ah yes... this series has been on my radar for ages and I always forget about it. Meg Cabot always writes such fun characters. My WoW features a series that's been ongoing for years!

  4. I definitely want to check out the Mediator series, but I'm intimidated because of how many books there are! Maybe this summer. :) Great pick!

  5. I am excited for this, but I think I would also really need to re-read the series since I haven't read these books since I was a teenager.
