One thing that seems to be pretty common with the new year is a list of goals or resolutions: a new year means a fresh start. I'm not usually very good at new year's resolutions; after a few days they fade away and I go back to my usual routine. But I'm turning 23 this year (I'm like the freaking crypt keeper), and I really want to try with these resolutions. I decided to do a mix of bookish and personal resolutions, because I'm doing well on my personal ones so far (well, some of them), and trying to keep up with ten bookish ones may be a little hard. Now, let's make 2016 our bitch, yeah?
I love your handwriting! :-) There are some resolutions on your list like original content that I'm aiming to go for as well. I tend to be quite review/meme heavy. Good luck with your goals.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what graphic design you do!! Very interesting! Also yay for Bookstagram!! I love your account :) I also want to write more... discipline for writing is so hard!! I really give props to all those authors out there who get that shit done!! Someday hopefully I'll get there :)
ReplyDeleteWriting more and making varied content are on my resolutions list too! Good luck with your goals :)
ReplyDeleteI think everyone is telling themselves to be picky with requests - 6 years into bloggings and I'm only just starting to do that myself o.o
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your resolutions & school! :D

ReplyDeleteGood luck with all your goals!! Balancing blogging with life/school can be sooo hard. There's just to much to do and so little time. >.<
ReplyDeleteyep yep yep. I need to be picky with requests too. But it's SOOO HARD. I hope we both accomplish our resolutions for this new, shiny year! Happy New Year!!

ReplyDeleteGood luck with "Be picky with requests"! Is it just me or are books getting better with each year, which is making this resolution harder and harder to do? :)

Great list! It can be super hard finding a balance between school, work, and blogging. I'm hoping to find that balance this year! Good luck!

These are all great goals. It has to be tough to balance school, blogging, and personal reading time. I wish you all the best with finding that perfect balance as well as success with your other goals.

Great list Rachel! I'm totally with you on being pickier, featuring new content, eating right and working out- and somehow balancing it all! I think that's the trickiest part! You've got these girl!
ReplyDeleteVolunteer at the zoo!! That is so fun! I want to volunteer more, too. I think that's definitely a great idea I'm going to snag from you. Your resolutions are so motivational! Best of luck in 2016!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all of your 2016 goals!

Aw these are great! I love that you hand wrote your list too, it looks fabulous- and unique :) I have a lot of the same ones as you. Definitely the WIP. Also Bookstagram- I have been such a slacker with it lately. It just takes so much time- which brings in the whole balancing time thing! I wish you the best of luck on all of these, and I hope you have a fabulous 2016!!
