The Belles' Enchanted Book Exchange 2014

Do you smell that? The aroma of pumpkin and fall is floating away, and in its place is the scent of pine needles and peppermint and cinnamon pinecones. The leaves are raked away so the ground can be painted in snow, and the chimney cleaned for a very important person's arrival. The halls are decked with boughs of holly, lights decorate every corner from floor to ceiling, and we all get drunk off eggnog. Orange and black is now red and green, and everywhere you go, the season will follow. Why, it's the most wonderful time of the year!

The most wonderful time of the year is about family and friends and good food and TV specials (and the never ever played Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, because TV people are Scrooges), but let's be greedy and say that it's also about presents. (We all like presents, yes?) Receiving them is fun, but giving them is, too. Hence the idea of Secret Santa.

This year, Montana from The Book Belles and I are back with The Belles' Enchanted Book Exchange, aka, a bookish Secret Santa! JOIN US, MY LITTLE ELVES!

Here are the quick details:

-Sign-ups start now and end November 20.

-Please only sign-up if you are really committed to this. If you sign-up but don't do your part, then someone will be giftless! That's no fun!

-The spending limit is around $20, so, maybe a book or two and/or a goodie?

-Shipping around the holidays is totally cray cray, so please send your Secret Santa's gift out by December 12. And with a tracking number! (And please email that to us.)

-We know international shipping can be crazy and expensive, but we want to open this up to international folks, too! So, when you sign up, the form will ask some questions: where you're located and where you're willing to ship to. This will help us match people up better who are international. Also, remember! Book Depository tends to have free shipping everywhere, which is super helpful for this.

You don't have to be a blogger to join; just love the bookish world! And please, do join us! Maybe you're not signed up for any Secret Santas and want to try one out, or maybe you're like me and want to do THREE. Either way, it's all fun!
