When 19-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.
As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow over the faerie lands is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it ... or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.
This is like a Beauty and the Beast retelling of sorts so you're waiting on it, right?
Also, P.S., if you comment saying you still need to read Throne of Glass, please know that my automatic response is just OH MY GOSH READ IT NOW. Just so you know. Because AHH.

Hope you enjoy this one! It does look very tempting....and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHere's mine: “THE NIGHTINGALE”
A combination of "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Ballad of Tam Lin", eh? Sounds like it could be interesting! And knowing Sarah J. Maas's ability to create amazing worlds, I can't wait to see what her Fae world is like!
ReplyDeleteI just saw this book on another WoW post, and as I said over there, this is being added to my TBR list! Thanks for sharing :)
