Book of the Month
I actually quite a few pretty good books in September, but come on, it's a Throne of Glass book.

Book Haul
See what goodies I got!

Weekly Posts
I started off the month with what characters would be sitting at my lunch table! Then I shared some underrated books and ten authors I need to read more from. After that it was time for my Fall TBR!

I waited on a book in a Rome-esque world, a pretty cover, a Beauty and the Beast retelling, and something seriously wicked.

Four new tattooed guests were on the blog, with Ray BradburyEdgar Allan Poethe Lowly Worm, and stars tattoos.

Other Posts
The Debut Authors Bash brought Rin Chupeco to the blog to talk The Girl from the Well and Kate A. Boorman to discuss Winterkill. I had a very fun interview with Captain Heidi Schulz, author of Hook's RevengePredator author Janice Gable Bashman shared what werewolf lore she learned while researching her book, and Jennifer M. Eaton, author of Fire in the Woods, told us what she would do if she ended up in Area 51. Then the Melissa Marr Made for You blog tour stopped by the blog and I shared my review, and I recommended some music!

I didn't make it to book club this month, but I did make it to a book signing (!!!)!

I met Sarah J. Maas and totally fangirled. And I got loot! It was such fun.

ALSO! I am back in school, so now school will be taking up a lot of time. I have textbooks and assignments to get done, and posting may slow down a wee bit.

I finally succumbed and lowered my Goodreads goal, so now my goals are to catch up on those few, finish what I'm currently reading, and get review books read.

New Releases
Here are two October releases I'm really looking forward to!

10/7, 7:00 p.m., The One and Only Ivan author Katherine Applegate will be at University Book Store in Seattle for her new book Ivan: The Remarkable True Story of the Shopping Mall Gorilla.

Also happening in October: Halloween and The Walking Dead, woohoo!

I'm cohosting a readalong of the entire Mara Dyer trilogy! Join the insanity! All the info about #MarasRetribution and how you can join (hint: there are international giveaways) can be found here.

Happy October, creatures!

  1. Gearing up to read Assassin's Blade so soon. Seeing that it was your fav makes me even more excited!

  2. I still really need to read Assassin's Blade! I'm planning on reading it before proceeding with Crown of Midnight since I REALLY want to know more about all of her past exploits, haha. I'm so jealous of that awesome bag and really glad you got to meet Sarah J. Maas, yey!! Good luck with school :)
