Top Ten Tuesday (101)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

This Tuesday's theme is...

Top Ten Books on
My Fall TBR Pile

I tend to dread this Top Ten Tuesday topic because it's just a reminder of what books I didn't manage to get read last season. But I'm hoping to do much better with my Fall TBR, especially because of some of the books on it. And so, without further adieu, ten(ish) books I hope I get read this fall!

Review books, always
This releases today, but I've been highly anticipating it and am hoping to dive into my ARC (well, Kindle) soon.

This is based on the Nutcracker, and I'm interested to see how it goes!

Genie-esque-ness!

FINALLY, BOOK, FINALLY.

I've been telling myself I'd cheat on my TBR pile with this for forever now, and it still hasn't happened. But in October? I'M READING YOU, BOOK.

I know, I know
I was just kind of bored when I read The Raven Boys so I haven't been in a rush to read this, but Blue Lily, Lily Blue is almost here (and I've had this for over a year), so...

Again, I know
I own these books and I still haven't read them. I was wary of the historicalness and all that before, but I've read some historical fiction this year and really liked it. So books, I shall hopefully read you before Mortal Heart is here!

I just want to drool on the cover, okay
I'll probably never read this because I'll just be too busy staring at the cover all the time.

She's coming to town
I must be prepared!

Just tell me what Mara's
freaking retribution is
For shit's sake.

What are you reading this fall?

  1. Cat Winters' books look and sound so interesting. The covers are beautiful, they seem like the perfect fall reads. Are they both standalones or are they connected?
    Great List!

  2. Haha The Retribution Of Mara Dyer. The cover of a Thousand Pieces Of You is just so pretty, I want to see it in real life!
Also, Killer Instinct is definitely worth cheating on your TBR for. =)

  3. YES to Mara!!!!! I can't wait to see if she's just crazy or if she really does have powers or what. I am also going to read Exquisite Captive. Very out of my comfort zone :)

  5. WINTERSPELL is on my list, too! I forgot about EXQUISITE CAPTIVE, but I do want to read it! I enjoyed SNOW LIKE ASHES and hope you will as well! I'm waiting on the Maggie Stiefvater until all four are out! Eeek, and Robin LaFevers!!!!!!!!!! ENjoy reading them for the first time!!! I need to read the Claudia Gray as well. I've been dragging my feet because it's more sci-fi than I normally like, but I'm hearing amazing things. And it's BEAUTIFUL! Oh, Cat Winters is coming? Enjoy! I got to meet her in January and she's lovely! I need to snag the final Mara Dyer, too!

  6. Salt and Storm, Winterspell, Exquisite Captive and A Thousand Pieces of You would have been on my extended list. I could have easily done a top twenty this week...although I'm not sure I can read 20 this fall. I'll still try! Great list!

  7. I still haven't read Dark Triumph and The Dream Thieves either! Apparently, they're both amazing. I'll be reading Snow Like Ashes, Exquisite Captive, and A Thousand Pieces of You this fall too. :)
