The Far, Far Away TBR + Giveaway

If you're like me, you've got a TBR pile that can wrap around the solar system about five million times. Today, I'm going to make that TBR wrap around just one more time (for now). I've been hearing about a lot of awesome sounding books lately, and of course they're not publishing until far, far away in 2015...or 2016! And I know word-of-mouth (or text-of-blog) is a big way to learn about books and spread the word, so this is me doing that. And to make this even sweeter...there's a giveaway! I hope you learn about some great books that you just cannot wait for and that your TBR explodes!

Details
-Books are separated by six main categories, then those categories have two sub-categories.
-Books are organized by genre, which may not all be one-hundred percent accurate (I went off Goodreads), so sorry!
-For the most part, these are all coverless releases with small synopses, but there are some exceptions.
-Clicking the book title and author will take you to the Goodreads page.
-There are thirty-seven books but I'm sure I'm forgetting some, so there may be a part two in the future!

Contemporary

2015 Releases
Debut Authors
Bookishly Ever After by Isabel Bandeira: Umm, YA books are used for romance testing and advice!

For the Record by Charlotte Huang: The main character's the leader singer of a band, ooh!

Hello, I Love You by Katie M. Stout: We've got a girl from a famous country music family who attends school in Korea, and there's K-pop, which I know nothing about, so inteeeresssting.

Invincible Wild by Jessica Taylor: This is a magical realism novel and the people kind of sound like gypsy's and I am very, very excited for this one.

Established Authors
Sapphire Skies by Becca Fitzpatrick: Ooh, the Witness Protection Program!

Trollhunters by Daniel Kraus and Guillermo del Toro: The writers make me iffy, but the title makes this horror novel sound excellent. I mean, MONSTERS. We shall see.

The Start of Me & You by Emery Lord: Open Road Summer was pretty good, and while this doesn't sound as light and fluffy, it still sounds good.

The Trouble With Destiny by Lauren Morrill: What looks to be a fun novel, since there's a school band...on a ship stranded at sea.

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven: This sounds like very good (The Fault in Our Stars meets Eleanor & Park) but also like it will probably make me cry.

Untitled by Stephanie Perkins: This is a, like, SLASHER NOVEL, from STEPHANIE PERKINS, so we'll see where this goes and yes, it sounds pretty freaking cool.

The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West: A contemporary novel from Kasie West automatically goes on my TBR.

21 Kisses by Daisy Whitney: About a girl who leaves love letters around Manhattan.

2016 Releases
Debut Authors
Where the Water Falls by Erin L. Schneider: A darker sounding contemporary set in Hawaii and by a local author.

Established Authors
My Unscripted Life by Lauren Morrill: The main character gets to work on a movie that's filming in her small town!

Fantasy

2015 Releases
Debut Authors
Library Jumpers by Brenda Drake: Is the title not enough? There are MAGICAL LIBRARIES. And a book that takes you to them ALL.

The Sin Eater's Daughter by Melinda Salisbury: The main character's an executioner whose touch literally kills, and this sounds AWESOME.

Established Authors
The Dregs by Leigh Bardugo: This seems to be about a lot of criminal-esque things, which sounds great.

Untitled (The Great Library #1) by Rachel Caine: Rachel Caine is one of my favorite authors and this features the Library of Alexandria, so...

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard: You had me at "...meets Avatar: The Last Airbender."

Untitled (Throne of Glass #4) by Sarah J. Maas: OBVIOUSLY.

2016 Releases
Established Authors
One Hundred Dresses by Susan Maupin Schmid: It's about one hundred magical dresses in castle built by DRAGONS.

Historical Fiction

2015 Releases
Established Authors
The Game of Love and Death by Martha Brockenbrough: I believe the characters are immortals who shift throughout the ages, and there's a Seattle setting, so WIN!

2016 Releases
Established Authors
Untitled by Sharon Biggs Waller: A Mad, Wicked Folly was great, so I'm excited to see what Sharon brings next! (Plus, it's after the Opium Wars in England. And China!)

Paranormal

2015 Releases
Established Authors
Remembrance by Meg Cabot: A NEW INSTALLMENT IN THE MEDIATOR SERIES DO YOU KNOW HOW EXCITED I AM.

Untitled (Penryn & the End of Days #3) by Susan Ee: I need you nooow.

Retelling

2015 Releases
Debut Authors
Teen Frankenstein by Chandler Baker: Helloo, it's a Frankenstein retelling, and other books in the series will retell The Phantom of the Opera and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Established Authors
Beastkeeper by Cat Hellisen: This is the story of what might have happened if Beauty and the Beast didn't live happily ever after (sob sob sob).

Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge: I don't know what Girl With No Hands is, but it sounds CREEPY.

Anne and Henry by Dawn Ius: A modern telling about the romance of King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn!

A Court of Thorn and Roses by Sarah J. Maas: NEW SARAH J. MAAS, HELLO. Also also, it's got a a Beauty and the Beast retelling in it. So, SOLD.

Heartless by Marissa Meyer: Ooh, a new retelling, this time about how the Queen of Hearts was created!

Winter by Marissa Meyer: This is on the list for obvious reasons (and also, why is this not here sooner, why).

2016 Releases
Debut Authors
Blackhearts by Nicole Castroman: This is already highly anticipated for me and I am EXCITED. First off, it is inspired by the tale of Blackbeard. Secondly, there's romance on the sea between the fortunate and less fortunate and YES.

Established Authors
Heartless Things by Lisa Maxwell: An AMAZING sounding darker retelling of Peter Pan that I need IMMEDIATELY.

Science Fiction

2015 Releases
Established Authors
Kalahari by Jessica Khoury: There's the Kalahari Desert and zoo things and a silver lion and YES, PLEASE.

The Cage by Megan Shepherd: What else do you need to know except that there's a human zoo?

2016 Releases
Established Authors
Starflight by Melissa Landers: Put Overboard in the pitch and you've got my attention. And intergalactic adventures? Ooh, this sounds kinda sorta not-exactly-at-all like Treasure Planet.

  5. Ahhhhhh there's going to be a new book in the Mediator series??? I had no idea!! This post has had me adding so many new books to my TBR, thank you! I'm not sure which 2015/2016 release I'm most looking forward to, but I'm definitely anticipating Rivals in the City by Y.S. Lee (the fourth book in the Agency series), Charisma by Jeanne Ryan, and Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. If I won I'd probably go with either Remembrance by Meg Cabot, or maybe The Sin Eater's Daughter. Or perhaps that alternate history by Rachel Caine because that sounds really cool. LOL, too many to choose from! Thanks for the chance to win :)
