Waiting on Wednesday (75)

Waiting on Wednesday
is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine
 that showcases upcoming releases
that people are very much anticipating.

There's something I really liked about the first book in this series (and it crosses my mind from time to time, prompting a possible reread). Either way, I reaaally want to read the sequel. Also, I NEED ANSWERS!

Title: The Infinite Sea
Author: Rick Yancey
Publisher: Putnam Juvenile
Publishing Date: September 16, 2014
Pages: 480

The riveting follow-up to the New York Times bestselling The 5th Wave, hailed by Justin Cronin as “wildly entertaining.”

How do you rid the Earth of seven billion humans? Rid the humans of their humanity.

Surviving the first four waves was nearly impossible. Now Cassie Sullivan finds herself in a new world, a world in which the fundamental trust that binds us together is gone. As the 5th Wave rolls across the landscape, Cassie, Ben, and Ringer are forced to confront the Others’ ultimate goal: the extermination of the human race.

Cassie and her friends haven’t seen the depths to which the Others will sink, nor have the Others seen the heights to which humanity will rise, in the ultimate battle between life and death, hope and despair, love and hate.

You all saw what Rick Yancey told USA Today in his interview with the cover's reveal, yes?
UT: For those who really loved THE 5TH WAVE, what will surprise them the most about where you go in the sequel?
RY: They will be absolutely shocked — shocked — by Evan's fate.
Please excuse me while I panic.

Is your pick this week making you fret?
