Top Ten Tuesday (60)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

This Tuesday's theme is...

Top Ten Things I Am Thankful For

What am I thankful for? A lot of things. But that could make this post all gushy and blah, and I hate talking like that. Therefore I'm going to give this topic a little twist. I'm going to list ten authors who I am thankful for, because their books are my favorites, which makes them some of my favorite authors. I know I am going to be forgetting someone (can I really choose only ten?), but either way, here are ten authors I'm thankful for. And look, I've invited them over for Thanksgiving dinner!

*Yes, I know, you're jealous of my making-this-a-cool-looking-post skills.

*The authors don't get to eat because they have no time because they're writing, sorry.

Rachel Caine
For the fangtasticness that is one of my absolute favorite series ever (and I'll never leave it).

Sarah Dessen
For giving me so many great, real books (and swoony boys).

Michael Grant
For writing one messed up series that had an excellent, well-done finale.

Meg Cabot
For creating a quick, breezy, fun, and totally enjoyable series.

Suzanne Collins
For making three amazing books (and for Finnick Odair).

Stephanie Perkins
For writing books that just make you feel good (and have Etienne St. Clair).

Rainbow Rowell
For becoming a new favorite author and writing fantastic contemporaries.

Stephen Cole
For creating a short and simple favorite trilogy--with werewolves.

Jodi Lynn Anderson
For telling a phenomenal, heartbreaking, lovely story.

Stephenie Meyer
For making a favorite series that inspired me to read and write (Twi-hard forever).

And because I can't leave it at that...the Kids' Table.

Maggie Stiefvater
For the wolves or mercy falls and such lovely stories.

Veronica Roth
For two fanfreakingtastic books (I don't want to talk about the third book, it hurts too much).

Ransom Riggs
For making my ship come true (I'm so sorry I haven't read your book yet).

Tahereh Mafi
For having amazing writing and making me like Adam and Warner and just WHAT.

Kiera Cass
For creating such a fun, enjoyable series and Team Maxon (he's the one, he has to be).

*Note: I got most of these pictures off Google, in case anyone wanted to know.
