Blogger Spotlight Tour: Harman from Little Bookworm Reviews

Hello, people of the universe! I'm very excited to have Harman from Little Bookworm Reviews on the blog today as part of the Blogger Spotlight Tour hosted by Justine from The Closet Library and Jazmen from This Girls Reads A Lot! I've got a fun interview with Harman, plus all the ways in which you can follow her. Be sure to check it out!

How would you describe yourself using the letters of BOOKWORM?
B- Bookish
O- Open minded
O- Obsessive (when it comes to books, and How I Met Your Mother)
K- Kind (I like to think but my sister would disagree)
W- Weird
O- Oblivious (especially when I’m reading or listening to music)
R- Romantic (I’m utterly obsessed with anything romantic)
M- Mindful

What's your favorite book of the year so far?
That is a really hard question because I have read so many amazing books this year. I’ll narrow it down to two, one YA and one NA. The Elite by Kiera Cass is my YA pick and it is the sequel to The Selection. I’m not very girly but there’s something about the dresses and Maxon that just makes me want to put on my prettiest dress. The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay is one of those NA books that just tears your heart out and stomps it to pieces yet still manages to put you back together and make you love life a little more. TSoF is a MUST READ!

What book are you most anticipating in 2013 and what one are you most anticipating in 2014?
For 2013 it would have to be Allegiant (Divergent #3) by Veronica Roth and Crash into You (Pushing the Limits #3) by Katie McGarry. For 2014 I am looking forward to City of Heavenly Fire (Mortal Instruments #6) by Cassandra Clare and Cress (Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer.

What's your blogging routine?
I have a little Mickey Mouse planner that I use to keep track of all my new releases, posts, interviews etc. It really does help a lot when school is going on. I usually try to get all my posts done and scheduled two days before the day it should be up. I also try to have something up at least 6 times a week…it doesn’t always work out that way.

Best drink/snack for blogging? Reading?
I don’t do much drinking or snacking when blogging or reading because of my mom’s rule of no food or drink out of the kitchen. Mothers… I do always try to sneak a few Snickers bars though. The one thing I do snack on 24/7 is gum. I’m a gum addict and my jaw hates me for it.

What's your favorite thing about being a blogger?
My favorite thing about blogging is the reason I started blogging. I love talking to others about books. It’s a passion of mine and I’ve gained a lot more bookish friends because of it. I also love all the new books that I’m exposed to!

What's the hardest thing about being a blogger?
I think the hardest thing about blogging is not getting into a slump or just wanting to stop blogging all together. I’ve only been blogging for about 7 or 8 months now and it’s happened to me a few times. The stress of making sure you're posting enough can be hard, but then I remember all the happiness the books and comments brings me and I get over it.

Who's your number one book boyfriend?
THIS IS THE HARDEST QUESTION EVER!!! I think it would have to be Jace Wayland from the Mortal Instruments. I am so sorry Cage (from While It Lasts by Abbi Glines) and Daemon (Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout) you know I love you guys too!

Favorite series? Standalone?
Choosing a favorite series actually isn’t that hard for me because I’ve thought about it so much. The Mortal Instruments series, followed closely by the Twilight Saga. Sorry I’m a Twilight fan, it’s the series that made me love reading. My favorite standalone is definitely My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick. If you have not read this book I suggest you pick it up now, I freaking adore this book!

You're a tribute in the Reader Games! Three fictional characters are your allies and three are you enemies. Who are they?
Allies:
Daemon Black (Lux series) I’ve got eye candy and a guy who can fight paranormal.
Travis Maddox (Beautiful Disaster) Eye candy and he’s an amazing street fighter.
Clary Fray (Mortal Instruments) She can kick butt and she can heal using an iratze.

Enemies:
Sebastian Morgenstern (Mortal Instruments) He’s half demon. Explained
Voldemort (Harry Potter) Best villain ever in the book world.
Bishop (Morganville Vampires) This vampire scares the living crap and he’s the most powerful vampire out there.

A group of your favorite authors are coming to your town! Who are they?
Stephenie Meyer, Cassandra Clare, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Elizabeth Reyes, Marissa Meyer, Katie McGarry & Abbi Glines. It’s a party!

I see on your blog that you're a fan of the Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine. I always get excited when I find fellow MV fans. Is there a certain book/series that makes you squeal when you find other people who are fans of it?
Yay! A fellow MV fan! I only find these online. If I mention it in the real world I get “huh?”. I get really excited about Morganville Vampires and the Lux series. You can always find fans of the Mortal Instruments and Hunger Games fans, but finding Lux series fans? In the real world? I have never found one, not yet at least.

Favorite review you've written?
I guess it would have to be my review of The Sea of Tranquility. It’s the first book I gave a 6 out of 5 stars and I just wrote all my feels down.

If you could live inside one book, what would it be?
Normally I would say Harry Potter because Hogwarts is a place where everyone wants to go, but recently I read Rush by Eve Silver and it’s like a video game. I used to be a video game junkie before high school came along, so definitely Rush where I get to kill stuff because I’m that type of girl.

How do you decide what to read next?
I’m not the type of person that can tell myself, “I’m going to pick this book up this month” and make a list of the books to read beforehand. I read according to mood. If I go against that I end up not enjoying the book. Whatever catches my eye is what I read.
