Top Ten Tuesday (45)

This Tuesday's theme is...

Top Ten Books I Wish
Could've Had Sequels

Oh, this topic. THE POSSIBILITIES. So many books, standalone or not, would be lovely with sequels--not that they weren't lovely before. There are so many books that I want more from, whether it's in the form of a full-length book or a novella. Nevertheless, here are ten standalones that I wouldn't mind seeing sequels from.

Because it was beautiful and
I want more and ow, my heart

Because I don't know what
the final outcome is

Because I love the characters

Because I'm a masochist and want to--ow--break my--ow--heart some more

Because three words aren't enough

[Spoiler Alert?] Because I want to follow the rest of their story and
learn how to stay in love

Because what just happened

Because I need some more closure

Because I don't know where
their paths took them

Because one book is not enough

  2. Great picks! I chose This is What Happy Looks Like for the same reason!

  4. Aw, man, I didn't have anything close to your picks! Oh well. :) Excellent call on the Sarah Dessen books; she is just so good at setting up these amazing romances and communities with engaging characters, but she's never continued on with them! What's up with that?

  6. I would be so scared about a sequel for The Host. Judging by how the sequels to Twilight turned out, I don't know if it would do The Host justice.

  7. My poor heart couldn't take a sequel to TFioS...I would still read it...but I would probably be an emotional mess for a while.

  8. I agree that This is What Happy Looks Like could use a sequel. She never did talked with her dad. I'm also curious how her life would change now that she has the money to go to that class and is still emailing with Graham.

  9. Yay, Eleanor and Park! I almost put STOLEN on my list, as well. How does the MC cope after all of the book's events? I want to know! haha

  10. I was ok with how This is What Happy ended, but I really would like to know what happens next. I'd pretty much read the sequel to any of Dessen's books. I have Wild Awake on my Kindle, but I haven't read it yet. Great list!

  13. Ahhh like all your books are on my TBR.... especially Wild Awake, This is What Happy Looks Like, How to Love, and Before I Fall! I don't think I could handle more The Fault in Our Stars. I'm still recovering from reading it a year ago!

Thanks for stopping by My TTT
