ReReadathon: Intro

My friend and blogger extraordinaire Shelver of Bookshelver's Anonymous has come with a fantastic idea that I am absolutely taking part in: a ReReadathon. All the details can be found here, but in short it's a readathon, taking place in all of July, where you can reread books that you've wanted to reread, without feeling guilty because you have new and/or review books that need to be read. It's easy to participate in (you can still read first-time reads, of course!), and you can sign up here

I love this idea because I've been wanting to reread some books for quite some time, but I just haven't had the chance or time to do so. But now I do, and I'm super excited to get back into these! I went through my bookshelf to see what I really wanted to reread, and my initial list was thirty-three books long--so not happening. So I thought about what I really, really wanted to reread, and those are what I will be rereading next month!

The Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley Armstrong:
The Summoning, The Awakening, and The Reckoning

The Mediator series by Meg Cabot: Shadowland, Ninth Key, Reunion, Haunted, and Twilight

I know it may not seem like a whole lot, but it's nine books total. That, plus the other books I want/need to read in July, fill up my load. I may add some more rereads, but I'll for sure read these two series. I've been wanting to reread them for quite some time; they're both light and fun, perfect summer. Plus, I want to review them on the blog, but I don't remember enough. I'll simultaneously get reviews and rereading done at the same time!

Throughout the Rereadathon, I hope to be posting updates--maybe weekly? I'll share how far I am, what I read--whether it's a reread or not--and just have fun. Keep a look out for those posts, as well as reviews!

Are you participating in the ReReadathon? If so, let me know! And what will you be reading? In the meantime...

Is it July yet?

  1. Yay! Happy to have you aboard! And I can't wait to read your reviews, especially the reviews for the Mediator series. That one's high on my TBR list, but I haven't gotten to them yet.
