Q: What inspired you to write about Angels? The challenges and pitfalls of writing on this topic.

A: I never set out to write an "angel" book. It so happens that my characters' story unfolded to me in bits and pieces. When I first heard Grace's voice in my head, she came to me as a runaway. She was very distraught. She needed me to tell her story. And so I did. Imagine my surprise when I understood what was really going on, that Grace Ann Miller believes that she is in fact an angel. Imagine your best friend or daughter or sister is missing for months, only to be found and the first thing out of her mouth is that she is an angel and became one while missing. What would you do? What would you say? Imagine that you are the parent, or police officer or mental health professional called to talk with her. What would you do? If you were Grace, would you tell the police or would you keep quiet for fear of being confined, medicated? If you knew no one would believe you, that all you had was your word to prove who you are, what would you do? As for the pitfalls of writing about angels, I don't see them that way. I do think you need to do a lot of research and fashion your characters in ways that are consistent with what most people believe about angels. Of course, since the average person has neither seen an angel, there is some license there. You can take your story to unexpected places, but I think it must be grounded in some general and common belief or understanding about what angels are. I did a lot of research reading the entire Bible to reading various books on angels, and also read parts of the Book of Enoch, Paradise Lost and other texts. I also studied bird and avian culture if you can call it that.

Seventeen-year-old Grace Ann Miller is no ordinary runaway. After having been missing for weeks, Grace is found on the estate of international rock star Gavin Vault, half-dressed and yelling for help. Over the course of twenty-four hours Grace holds an entire police force captive with incredulous tales of angels, demons, and war; intent on saving Gavin from lockup and her family from worry over her safety. Authorities believe that Grace is ill, suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, the victim of assault and a severely fractured mind. Undeterred, Grace reveals the secret existence of dark angels on earth, an ancient prophecy and a wretched curse steeped in Biblical myth. Grace’s claims set into motion an ages-old war, resulting in blood, death and the loss of everything that matters. But are these the delusions of an immensely sick girl, or could Grace’s story actually be true? Praefatio is Grace’s account of weeks on the run, falling in love and losing everything but her faith. When it’s sister against brother, light versus darkness, corrupt police officers, eager doctors and accusing journalists, against one girl with nothing but her word as proof: who do you believe?

  1. You can also buy an in stock wig that is already made and ready to be shipped. There are two categories for hair extensions sale which are the lace front wigs and the full lace wigs. The main difference between them is the lace base, a best lace wigs uk has a lace base on the front half of the head while a hair extensions uk has a lace base that covers the whole scalp. You need to choose carefully between them, a wrong selection may cause a lot of inconvenience. The glueless lace wigs uk have many advantages, and one of them that stand out is that they look very natural and realistic. As long as it is attached to the head properly, it can be styled in the same way as real hair. A full lace wig is very lightweight. So you do not even need to remove it even if you wear it for several days. But what makes people feel headache is that it is so difficult to attach the wig to the head, which is one of the disadvantages for the lace wigs uk.
