Top Ten Books I Had to Buy That Are Still Unread on My Shelf
Sorry for the late and non-descriptive post this week! I'm just about over being an emotional wreck because I read The Fault in Our Stars and it put me in a haze and made me suffer. Share your top ten in the comments!
You have so many good ones on here! Looking for Alaska is my favorite John Green book BY FAR. It's not QUITE as intense as TFIOS (but still intense). Also, Daughter of Smoke and Bone was one of my favorites that I read last year. I'm looking forward to picking up the second one in the series. Happy Reading to you!
First, my sympathies on finishing TFIOS - I still am not over that one. :'(
But this list is full of awesome books! I highly recommend Cinder, and Under the Never Sky. Looking for Alaska is another John Green cry fest (at least it was for me), but also really good.
Oh, you have some really good ones on this list! I loved UNDER THE NEVER SKY, CITY OF BONES and CINDER. Also, THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, which I actually thought was pretty darn upbeat for a book about kids with cancer. I hope you get a chance to read all these!
Ohh my, you have a couple of my favorites on your list!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Under the Never Sky and Cinder. I really enjoyed Daughter of Smoke and Bone, although the second book is still sitting unread on my shelf. I have The Fault in Our Stars sitting on my bookshelf, I just promised my co-blogger I would read it soon!
I know you probably hear it all the time but you have to read City of Bones! And then the rest of them, of course. They're painful, but worth it. I promise. Daughter of Smoke and Bone is so amazing. Cinder and If I Stay were on the list for me as well for a while but I loved them when I got to them! My list is pretty bad, too. I haven't read any Vampire Academy books, Sarah Dessen, or Under the Never Sky so don't worry! Great choices. I hope you get the chance to read them soon and love them!
-Marissa from Beneath the Moon and Stars
P. S. The Fault in Our Stars killed me too. Sadly, I can't say that the pain ever really goes away. It's still amazing though.
Hi! I'm Rachel, an avid reader and aspiring author who tends to write incoherent-yet-coherent reviews. I love all things bookish and am constantly adding books to my majorly overflowing shelves and TBR pile. Like books, animals and Disney are my own personal brand of heroin. I want to go to Neverland, and my favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast, of course.
Hello, lovelies! As you can see, I got a new template! The problem is that I still need to tweak a lot of it so it fits my blog and looks good and all that, so please be patient as I work to refine it (and forgive the messy state my blog is currently in).

I have had Daughters of Smoke and Bone forever! I'm going to have to make a point of reading 1 of my older books each month! Great list.

The Vampire Academy series is incredible. One of the best series out there right now! I really recommend them!
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten!
Lots of good choices. I still need to start the Vampire Academy series myself.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
I totally agree with these ones! I have only read If I Stay out of all of these (which I LOVE) and I just started Cinder (which everyone else loves)
ReplyDeleteHope you have fun with these once you get to them!
