Waiting on Wednesday (8)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine
that showcases upcoming releases that people are very much anticipating.

The following book comes from an author whose books are simple and amazing--and written in verse. I never thought I'd be a person who liked verse, but I have no problem reading hers. Her next novel (see below) isn't written in verse, which makes it all the more interesting and different. I have read--and own--every single one of her YA books, and they're fantastic. If you haven't heard of her or her novels, be sure to check them out and read them. And don't forget to wait on this one.

Title: Falling for You
Author: Lisa Schroeder
Publisher: Simon Pulse
Publishing Date: January 1, 2013
Pages: 355

Rae's always dreamed of dating a guy like Nathan. He’s nothing like her abusive stepfather—in other words, he’s sweet. But the closer they get, the more Nathan wants of her time, of her love, of her...and the less she wants to give.

As Rae’s affection for Nathan turns to fear, she leans on her friend Leo for support. With Leo, she feels lighter, happier. And possessive Nathan becomes jealous.

Then a tragedy lands Rae in the ICU. Now, hovering between life and death, Rae must find the light amid the darkness…and the strength to fight for life and the love she deserves.
