Waiting on Wednesday (4)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine
that showcases upcoming releases that people are very much anticipating.

This week I'm waiting on a book that I predict will put shivers down my spine, keep me up at night--either reading or because I'm scared--and pull me in. This book looks, well, kind of sort of really scary. When it comes to movies, I don't usually like that kind of stuff. But for some reason I want to read this book. It may be a bad idea, but I don't care: I really want to read it.

Title: Ten
Author: Gretchen McNeil
Publisher: Balzer + Bray/HarperCollins
Publishing Date: September 18, 2012
Pages: 304

And their doom comes swiftly.
It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives — an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie each have their reasons for being there (which involve T.J., the school’s most eligible bachelor) and look forward to three glorious days of boys, booze and fun-filled luxury.
But what they expect is definitely not what they get, and what starts out as fun turns dark and twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine.
Suddenly people are dying, and with a storm raging, the teens are cut off the from the outside world. No electricity, no phones, no internet, and a ferry that isn’t scheduled to return for two days. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on each other, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine.

And because it enhances the creepy and makes me want to read Ten more, watch the trailer. Since I can't get the video to post here, just click right here to watch it. And you want to. Trust me.

This book may just scare the living you-know-what out of me, but that's okay, because I really want to read it. Anyway, it's Young Adult, so it can't be that scary. Right? RIGHT?
